Inside
the house, as you might expect, shows pictures of the interior of the
house. There is at least one picture of each room.
Around
the house (right) shows pictures of the house and garden seen from
outside. As the seasons turn, the delights of the place constantly change.
The local area shows pictures of the Cévennes and the countryside around the house. Some of the photographs go wider than the immediate area; the basic theme is the varying countryside of the mountains, cévennes and garrigues.
The
wider area (right) has pictures of some of the towns and countryside reached
easily from the house. It is one of the great pleasures of a stay at the
house that so much is within the wider reach of day trips, from the chic
ambiance of Avignon, to the great Roman artifacts such as the Pont du
Gard, to the wilds of the Camargue.
"Our holidays" The other pictures lack people. So this page takes a few of our family snaps and offers them as a glimpse of some of the ways we spend our time when at and around Le Vieux Mas.
