The living room is a lovely light airy room with a window giving views over the valley and its own door to the garden.  One of the sofas converts to double bed if there is a crowd in the house.

The Digital TV has all free to air TV and radio channels delivered by satellite.  There is also a DVD player and a hi-fi with a collection of DVDs and CD for children (mostly) and adults.

There is a good collection of books as well as numerous maps and guides.  You'll also find our own comprehensive notes on the local area, restaurants, sights, nature, walks etc which visitors regularly report as the best they have ever found in a holiday home.

You'll also find a few board games, packs of cards and so on.  Upstairs there are some toys  for younger children.

There is a PC in the house for visitor's use.  This has dial-up access to the internet, to be replaced by broadband in summer 2009.  Local amenities and attractions are bookmarked.

The living room is also wonderfully snug out of season, with a large wood-burning stove giving masses of heat.
